Due to unforeseen circumstances the last leg from Whanganui to Welltington turned out longer than excpected! Bad weather, illness and lots of headwind made us go slower than anticipated. But still it was a remarkable end to journey from Caper Reinga to Wellington!

On day 18 we went from Whanganui to Hunterville. It was a bit rainy, and the Hotel in Hunterville was fully booked due to a wedding. But luckily they let us camp in their garden..

From Martinboorough to Featherston. Initially we attempted to cross the Remutakas on the same day, but unfortunately there was a lot of headwind along the Lake Wairarapa so we postponed to the next day..
